Invicta Couriers 1996 Van in Paris

Invicta Couriers 30th Year

Founded in 1996, the business started with a small number of vehicles and a straightforward aim: to provide a dependable courier service built on trust, professionalism and getting the job done properly. Thirty years later, those same principles still guide everything we do — but the scale, capability and sophistication of our operation have grown considerably.

How We’ve Evolved Over 30 Years

Over the past three decades, Invicta Couriers has continually adapted to meet changing customer needs, new regulations and advances in vehicle and logistics technology. Today, our operation includes:

  • A fleet of around 50 vehicles, supporting customers across the UK and Europe

  • A diverse range of vans, including refrigerated vehicles, Lutons and ambient delivery vans

  • Specialist temperature-controlled logistics, supported by continuous monitoring and reporting systems

  • FORS Silver accreditation, reflecting our commitment to safety, compliance and environmental responsibility

  • Ongoing driver training and professional development, ensuring consistently high standards across our team

  • Investment in modern tracking, planning and communication systems to improve transparency and reliability

This evolution hasn’t happened overnight. It’s been shaped by listening to our customers and drivers, investing in our people, and continuously improving the way we operate.

Built on People and Partnerships

One of the things we’re most proud of is the long-standing relationships we’ve built with customers, suppliers and staff. Many of our clients have worked with us for years, and some for decades — a level of trust we never take for granted.

Our drivers, controllers and support staff have played a huge part in reaching this milestone. Their professionalism, experience and commitment are central to everything we do.

Looking Ahead

Reaching 30 years in business is an important milestone, but it’s also a reminder that logistics is an industry that never stands still. As we look ahead, our focus remains on:

  • Continuing to invest in our fleet and systems

  • Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and reliability

  • Supporting our customers as their logistics needs evolve

  • Building a sustainable, resilient business for the future

From that early run to Paris in 1996 to the specialist operation we run today, we’re proud of how far we’ve come — and excited about what lies ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Invicta Couriers journey over the past 30 years.

If you have something that needs moving, tell us what and where — our transport team will come back to you with a price.

Bakkavor Group is a leading international food manufacturing company specialising in freshly prepared foods and produce.

The company have five core values that underpin the way we do business, one of which is, customer care: We are committed to supplying outstanding service, quality and value, never forgetting that our relationship with our customers is pivotal to our success.

Invicta Couriers have helped us to achieve this in conjunction with our team at Tilmanstone. They provide transport solutions for the effective distribution of samples to our customers and internal buying teams. On many occasions that has been at short notice and often outside traditional working hours.

We have been working with Invicta’s for a number of years now and would consider their flexible approach and professional manner a credit to their management team.

It is on this basis that I would not hesitate to recommend their services to any business.

I confirm that I have dealt with Invicta Couriers since 2004, during which time they have provided our company with excellent support in transporting our water samples from our offices in Folkestone to our laboratories in Watford and Staines.

One of the reasons we initially approached Invicta was due to the fact that they could offer temperature controlled vehicles with constant monitoring, to ensure that our strict guidelines are adhered to.

One of the reasons we have remained with Invicta is based in the good working relationship and trust that has developed. The nature of our business means that we can require sample transportation during unsociable hours and very often, at very short notice. I’m delighted to say that Invicta Couriers have always been able to accommodate our needs.

I can confidently recommend Invicta Couriers as providers of a flexible and reliable service.
