Hire One (Invicta Couriers’ sister company) is delighted to be supporting Whitstable Carnival 2026, taking place on Saturday 1 August.

As a local business based in Whitstable, we believe it is important to support the events, organisations and volunteers that make our town such a special place to live, work and visit.

Whitstable Carnival is one of the town’s best-loved annual traditions, bringing together local residents, businesses, community groups, performers and visitors for a colourful celebration.

This year marks the 129th Whitstable Carnival, continuing a tradition that has brought enjoyment and community spirit to the town for generations. The event is organised with the help of hardworking volunteers and relies on local support and fundraising to continue.

Look Out for Hire One in the Official Programme

We are pleased to have a full-page Hire One advert in this year’s official souvenir programme.

The programme celebrates the carnival, provides information about the event and gives local businesses an opportunity to show their support.

Whitstable Carnival 2026

The carnival parade begins at 5:30pm from Pier Avenue on Saturday 1 August.

It will travel through Tankerton and Whitstable Harbour, continue along the High Street and finish at Saddleton Road at approximately 7pm.

The celebrations will then continue with an after-party at Dead Man’s Corner from 7pm until 10:30pm, featuring live music, food and drink. Entertainment for children will also take place throughout the day.

Supporting Our Local Community

Events such as Whitstable Carnival require an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.

We would like to thank the organisers, volunteers, performers, participants and local supporters who give their time to make the carnival possible.
